Sophia is 7 months!

Image
It is hard to believe this sweet girl is 7 months already!  She is sitting up like a pro and working so hard to get the hang of crawling.  She can usually get where she wants to go but it still takes a while.  She is so interactive now and gets so excited when her sisters come in the room and talk to her.  And if Abbi starts dancing around her, watch out!  She will flap her arms and bounce up and down and beg for Abbi to pick her up and spin her around!  It is so cute!  If she is fussing, all she needs is for someone to read her one of her favorite books.  She also expects to eat every time any of us put anything in our mouths.  She will just look at me waiting for her bite and often grab at my mouth until I give her one.  Sophia graduated to a big girl crib this month and actually started taking decent naps!  It is amazing how much happier she is now that she is sleeping more during the day.  Now that she is more stable ...

Friday, March 19, 2021 From the desk of Karlie DeLong Yes, Cupcake loves to get in the way. Abbi and Alyssa were playing Sleeping Queens and she came over and plopped down in the middle of their playing area! And here is a picture of her in a hilarious position:

Saturday, March 13, 2021 From the desk of Karlie DeLong Literally, right now, as I type this, Cupcake is on me. When I was blogging about the library ( see previous   post ), guess who decided it would be a good idea to snuggle - right on top of me and the computer? Maybe she was trying to make me stop typing, but it won't work! ( Duhn, duhn, duhn! ) So now she is the subject of this post.

Library Crafts!

Image
Saturday, March 13, 2021 From the desk of Karlie DeLong Ever since the library was able to start doing curbside pickup, they have been giving out crafts. They have a different kid's craft every week and a new teen and adult craft every month. Although I am not a teen or an adult, I get the same crafts Karis does, and sometimes the kid's craft as well. The teen and adult ones are usually really neat. Here are some I have done today: an LED battery-powered flower ( you are supposed to color it, but I didn't ), and a clover for Saint Patrick's Day made out of paper.

Karlie already knew because she had looked at Mamma's calendar so she would know the dates for health checks on Monday.      We were picked up at 2:30 from school on Friday and our parents took us to chick-fil-a on the way there. We stayed until Sunday afternoon and had dinner at Nina's. pics from when the first night: the next day: about...

We had a special breakfast on Valentine's morning and and at lunch after church we gave each other our valentines. It was a fun Valentine's Day!
