Saturday, June 26, 2021 From the desk of Karlie DeLong This week we had VBS on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! The theme was Mystery Island. Karis did songs and took a ton of pictures. The rest of us were on the green team. Alyssa came the last two nights and Nina and Papa came on Tuesday. The Kniowski's were on our team. Kyleigh came, but she was on the blue team. We had a luau on Wednesday! Daddy had found real coconuts for coconut bowling, but all three of them broke. Here was our schedule for the first two nights: First, we came in and sang songs, then we had our Lighthouse Lessons. They were about Paul, Isaiah, and Mary. Then we went to crafts. The first night we decorated treasure chests and the next night we made a parrot. Next, we had games. We played games like ring toss, holding water balloons on paddles, relay races, and others. Then, we had snack. We had goldfish, gummies, and popsicles. Then, we went back to the auditorium for some more songs, announcements, and t...

  June 17, 2021 Abigail DeLong On Wednesday, we had waffles for breakfast. We played in the water. After that, we went to a park called Camelot. It was shaped like a castle. It was very fun to play on. We got two new kayaks so we could go to see the lighthouse. Then, we went to the island! Karlie and I were in a kayak together. When we got there we collected a lot of clay and molded it into bowls and pinecones, etc. On the long trip back to the lake house, Karlie and I sang at the top of our lungs the whole way! Then, we went to the mini-beach. Sophia loved playing in the water with Mama. She got to try out her new float! The rest of us, except for Karlie, played Sharks and Minnows. Karlie took most of these pictures. We had a lot of fun! 

  June 15, 2021 Abigail DeLong On Tuesday, we let Sophia be in her little pool for the first time EVER! She loved it! She learned how to climb in and out of it. We also made gingerbread houses. Caedmon and Karis got the most color coordinated award, Grandma and Alyssa got the animal farm award, Susanna and Papa got the sugar rush award, Keaton and I got the abstract award, and Karlie and Benjamin were announced the grand winners! We also had fun playing in the lake. After that, we did water bottle flipping and spike ball. later that night, we did Christmas presents in June! Sophia loved the bows! It was a fun day!
