Time Travel

​Friday, January 9 

Today is a spirit day at school! We had to dress up as someone from another time! Me and Karlie (and Susanna but she doesn’t count because she’s not in high school) wore poodle skirts. We curled our hair and went as girls from the 1950s. I also wore my tap shoes! Our schedules were different, and we had a game at the end of the day. The game was battleship. 7 people played from each grade. I didn’t because I was taking pictures for the yearbook. 9th grade lost the first game, but we made an amazing comeback and went on to win the next one!! (Because we are amazing!) It was fun, but my feet were hurting by the end of the day. (It turns out tap shoes aren’t that comfortable) But mommy made us cookies for snack so that was nice!

We were going to go bowling and then go back to her house, but there was a tournament going on, so we just went back for a playdate. The other guests were Zoe Meador, Aubrey Ferguson, and Lilli Farnsworth. We played some games and then got dressed up for a really fancy dinner. Emma's parents dressed up as our waiter and waitress. We pretended that we were in the 1700's. It was so fun!

Camp Eagle!

Thursday, July 29, 2021 From the desk of Karlie DeLong This summer, we all went to Camp Eagle! Abbi, Susanna, and I went one week and Karis went the next. We all got the same counselors and cabins! Our name was the Super Amazing Awesome Sapphire Loots, and Karis' group were the Plankwalkers. It was a pirate theme. We had a lot of fun! I knew almost everyone in my cabin!
