Cake for Papa Eric

     We celebrated Karlie's birthday at the same time as Papa's. Karlie made her own cake but I always make the one for him. Some years I have made cherry pies and some years I made cherry cakes. He loves cherries so I always do something with them in it. This year I made another cherry cake. For Christmas I had gotten a huge cake decorating/baking kit from Nina and Papa. It came with some cake pans and other things I used for making the cake in it. 

  I made the cake with a chocolate cake mix swirled with a vanilla cake mix mixed with a cherry jello mix. I put chocolate buttercream on it and and decorated with cherry pie filling and some chocolate hearts I made made with melted chocolate chips. It turned out really good!

We were going to go bowling and then go back to her house, but there was a tournament going on, so we just went back for a playdate. The other guests were Zoe Meador, Aubrey Ferguson, and Lilli Farnsworth. We played some games and then got dressed up for a really fancy dinner. Emma's parents dressed up as our waiter and waitress. Random Ice Day

 We had a random winter storm and the girls were able to be out of school!  We forgot to take many pictures, but Karis used the time to re-organize her bookshelves.  Lolli decided that her legs made a nice pillow for a nap!  Abbi and Susanna were the only ones brave enough to try to go sledding on the ice but they had a lot of fun!

9 Poems

  May 29, 2021 Abigail DeLong I wrote nine poems about our pets. Here they are: Poem #1 Lolli and Cupcake were not friends when Lolli had her kittens. I was so happy, I sang a song while I jumped on the trampoline with Karlie and Susanna Delong. Lolli had her kittens, four, But suddenly, she had one more! Lolli has five kittens; they are so cute! They make me want to jump around the house and play a little flute. I am so proud of Lolli. She reminds me of Karis and Karlie! THE END Poem #2 One of the kitten's names is Taffy. Sometimes, she is very snappy. She was the third kitten born, but she cannot blow on a horn. She is a calico kitten, but she hasn't any mittens. Lolli is very proud, because sometimes, Taffy is loud.
