Daddy Daughter Date Night at Camp Eagle

This Saturday, we had a daddy daughter date night at Camp Eagle! The theme was pirates and princesses, so that was perfect for Susanna! Mommy had gotten her an early birthday present that came just in time: a pirate outfit! However, she was the only daughter who dressed like a pirate. For everyone else, the dads were pirates and the daughters were princesses. Abbi dresses like a princess who was a spy for a pirate. Karis couldn't come because her allergies were going crazy and she wasn't feeling very good. We started the night off with some pirate duels, but some princesses wanted to try it as well. Then, we went to the Eagle's Nest for dinner. We had delicious chicken tenders and some shrimp, hush puppies, corn on the cob, and potatoes. For dessert, we had the best ice cream ever and a brownie, but I couldn't finish mine. We took pictures at the photo booth and then the daughters colored picture frames and the dads wrote messages to their daughters to put in bottles. We are not allowed to open ours until next year! It was a very fun night!

We were going to go bowling and then go back to her house, but there was a tournament going on, so we just went back for a playdate. The other guests were Zoe Meador, Aubrey Ferguson, and Lilli Farnsworth. We played some games and then got dressed up for a really fancy dinner. Emma's parents dressed up as our waiter and waitress. We pretended that we were in the 1700's. It was so fun!

Random Ice Day

 We had a random winter storm and the girls were able to be out of school!  We forgot to take many pictures, but Karis used the time to re-organize her bookshelves.  Lolli decided that her legs made a nice pillow for a nap!  Abbi and Susanna were the only ones brave enough to try to go sledding on the ice but they had a lot of fun!

9 Poems

  May 29, 2021 Abigail DeLong I wrote nine poems about our pets. Here they are: Poem #1 Lolli and Cupcake were not friends when Lolli had her kittens. I was so happy, I sang a song while I jumped on the trampoline with Karlie and Susanna Delong. Lolli had her kittens, four, But suddenly, she had one more! Lolli has five kittens; they are so cute! They make me want to jump around the house and play a little flute. I am so proud of Lolli. She reminds me of Karis and Karlie! THE END Poem #2 One of the kitten's names is Taffy. Sometimes, she is very snappy. She was the third kitten born, but she cannot blow on a horn. She is a calico kitten, but she hasn't any mittens. Lolli is very proud, because sometimes, Taffy is loud.
